My contribution to the PC (Modding) Community

Last update: February 2007

Welcome to my PC modding section... in these pages you can view various PC modifications that I have performed, documented and captured photographically. Some of the mods that can viewed at this time include:

  • Recent front panel intake mod incorporating an air duct between the split front grills and fan behind. The duct was created using a foam mould and then formed using fibreglass and body filler. The happy candidate was my home theatre PC aptly called 'HTPC'. This mod recently won first place in the OCAU Friendly Modding Competition.
  • Guide on mounting the ThermalTake Big Typhoon onto a rev. 1 Gigabyte DQ6 motherboard as well as both a prototype and final CPU Air Duct that I incorporated.
  • Guide on modifying your PSU's power cables, removing and relocating connectors to suit your own requirements.
  • Sneak peek photo gallery on some of the mods that I been performing on 'Main'. Yep, that's my main PC ;-).
  • More soon. I have heaps of pics of the various mods I've been performing lately including additions and modifications to those mentioned above. I just need to get the time to put them altogether presentably.

Note the linked contact details should you wish to contact me and, where applicable, the forum discussions where some of these mods have been submitted for scrutiny.
