Part 1: E6400 Core 2 Duo, Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6, ThermalTake Big Typhoon - Lap, Fit, Mod.
Including Crazy-Cool
Concept Direct outside ambient air directly to the HSF of the Big Typhoon and force air-flow through the DQ6's radiators and northbridge heatsink. NOTE: This is the second prototype and probably the final product for me as I am very happy with the results. Additional photos and commentary to be inserted later. This is another sneak peek for the moment.
As I write, my E6400 is running 63%
over-clocked (2.13Ghz @ 3.46Ghz, 1.38v [1.425v],
FSB 433, Mem 1:1 4-4-4-12, 2.13v [+0.3v])
running 2 instances of Folding@Home with both CPU cores @ 100%. Excellent for 'air' if you ask me ;-) Previous test results with the cardboard prototype:![]() |
